Small Business Mentorship.
I applied and was one of 20 accepted into the Qurate Small Business Spotlight Mentor program. I was placed in a team of 3 and matched with a small business, Aqua Headwear. Aqua Headwear sells stylish, waterproof turbans and head wraps. Aqua Headwear was looking for guidance on UX design, SEO, and marketing.
We accomplished a lot in 6 weeks, including redesigning the website & SEO restructure + training. I focused on the transfer of knowledge to enable them to succeed in the future, not just the time they were with us . At the end of just 4 weeks, visits were up 61%, returning visitors was up 10.53% from 7%, conversion went up 116%, & sales with up 30%.
