Rachel Schaeffer grew up in a creative household near Philly that encouraged her to pursue her passions. This led her to a degree in Industrial Design at Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston where she graduated with honors as a dual-sport college athlete.
At Wentworth, she learned that the process of good design comes from continuing to ask questions until the opportunity is clearly defined. Then brainstorming, testing and iterating ideas until there is a design solution that is intuitive, relatable and innovative.
Rachel has experience in industrial design, graphic design, and UX design. She uses design thinking methodologies to research and iterate, always keeping the user as the center focus of the design process. When she’s not creating graphics, conceptualizing products and building user experiences, she continues to grow her skills through freelance work, Skillshare classes and personal projects. Painting, drawing, photography, jewelry making, reading and traveling are a couple of her personal pleasures.
